Greetings & Certificates
My office is happy to coordinate requests for greetings and certificates in recognition of milestone birthdays or wedding anniversaries.
Please submit your request to joyce.murray.c1@parl.gc.ca, with all of the information listed below included.
Please note:
-Nine weeks advance notice is required for greetings from the Queen and Governor General
-Proof of birth date (ex: photocopy or scan of birth certificate) or marriage (ex: photocopy or scan of marriage certificate) is required for greetings from the Queen
Be sure to include the following details:
Celebrant information:
-Full name of celebrant as it should appear on the certificate
-Celebrant’s full mailing address and phone number
-The occasion (ex. 50th wedding anniversary, 100th birthday)
-Date of birthday or anniversary
-Date of celebratory reception if applicable
Requester Information (if different from celebrant):
-Full name, mailing address, and phone number of requester
-Please specify whether the certificate should be sent to the Celebrant or to the Requester
If any further information is required, you will be contacted directly via email. You will receive a confirmation email once the request has been submitted.
